This special Brandy Freeze Cocktail recipe comes from my best friend’s dad, Steve, who sadly lost his battle with Parkinson’s years ago. He loved making and ordering this cocktail, and every time I see it on a menu, I remember him with fondness. Today, I’m honored to share it with you!

Add the brandy, creme de cacao, vanilla, and ice to a blender.

Brandy Freeze Cocktail

Servings: 1 cocktail

Ingredients 

  • 1.5 ounces brandy
  • 1.5 ounces creme de cacao the white kind
  • 2/3 cup vanilla ice cream
  • Handful of ice cubes
  • Fresh nutmeg for serving

Instructions 

  • Add all ingredients and a handful of ice to a blender.
  • Blend on high until smooth throughout.
  • Pour into a coupe glass and top off with freshly grated nutmeg.

    Fabulous dessert cocktail! Tastes like a vanilla *adult fun* frosty! Got 2 thumbs up from all who have tried it. Definitely a 5/5!

  2. I knew this drink as a Brandy Alexander. Used the same recipe except added the ice cream and crushed ice at the very end and just mixed it lightly as to form a soft serve ice cream which would come up out of the brandy glass.
