Refreshing, citrusy, and a little tangy, this Frozen Paloma is the ultimate summer cocktail.

You know I love a good margarita, but this tequila-based cocktail might just be my new favorite drink. This frozen paloma is lighter than a margarita but just as fun and festive. It features a combination of sweet-tart grapefruit juice and zesty lime juice, which makes this perfect for poolside lounging or backyard BBQs. A hint of sweetness from simple syrup balances the tang from the citrus fruit. A Tajín rim adds a salty, spicy kick that makes every sip pop.
To make this drink, you’ll need a high-speed blender. Blend the cocktail ingredients along with ice until you get that perfect, slushy consistency. It’s smooth, slurpable, and exactly what I want to drink this summer.

Recipe fAQs:
These are two of my favorite tequila-based cocktails, but the main difference is that a paloma is made with a lot of grapefruit juice and a small amount of lime juice, whereas a margarita is primarily made with lime juice and a little bit of orange liqueur.
Yes! You can make the base cocktail (tequila, grapefruit and lime juice, and simple syrup) in a large pitcher or mason jar. When it’s time to serve, blend it up with ice.
I hope you enjoy this Frozen Paloma while lying poolside this summer. Comment below and let me know what you think!

Delicious and perfectly refreshing for a hot summer’s night.
The recipe calls for “1 cup fresh lime juice, about 2 limes”. 2 limes are unlikely to produce 1 cup of lime juice. Should we be aiming for 1 cup of lime juice? Or the amount of juice 2 limes would produce – more like 1/4 cup? Can’t wait to try these! Thank you!
I had the same question!
Sorry for the confusion! You want to aim for 1/4 cup lime juice.
