Here’s another salmon recipe to add to your rotation — Sheet Pan Gochujang Glazed Salmon! The glaze on this salmon has the perfect balance of sweetness and spice that I know you will just love. Enjoy it as-is or serve it as a bowl with a grain, kimchi, and any other toppings you desire.

Salmon is on our dinner table almost weekly. However, I am always trying to think of new ways to flavor it because it can quickly get boring. Gochujang has become a staple in my pantry and I love the amount of flavor it can add to simple dishes like this otherwise basic sheet pan meal. Made with red chili powder, fermented soybeans, rice, and salt, it’s an ingredient commonly used in Korean cooking. Since gochujang typically comes in a big container, be sure to use the leftover gochujang for these Gochujang Grilled Chicken Lettuce Wraps.
Additionally, I love how perfectly cooked the salmon is when baked in the oven. I cook the broccolini right on the same sheet pan to simplify things. It’s an easy, no-fuss method that always works. Less dishes = a win!

- Gochujang Paste
- Maple Syrup
- Rice Vinegar
- Sesame Oil

step-by-step:
step one: preheat the oven and prep the baking sheet
Preheat the oven to 400℉ and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

step four: add the salmon
Place the salmon filets in the center of the sheet pan and season the tops with the remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt.
step five: coat the salmon with the glaze
Spoon 1 tablespoon of glaze over each salmon filets and brush to evenly coat the tops of the salmon filets. Transfer to the oven and bake for 10 minutes.
step six: finish baking the salmon
Remove from the oven and drizzle with the remaining gochujang sauce. Sprinkle with the white and black sesame seeds and sliced green onions.Return to the oven and continue to bake until the salmon is just cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, about 5 minutes. Remove from the oven.
step seven: serve and enjoy
Serve the salmon and broccolini with rice and kimchi, if desired.

recipe FAQs:
It can be! Gochujang is often made with a small bit of wheat to help the paste firm up, making it a little difficult to find a gluten-free option. The Coconut Secret brand, which is made with coconut aminos, can be found online and at various grocers.
You can enjoy the sheet pan as-is or you can serve in bowls with prepared rice or cauliflower rice and kimchi!
I hope you enjoy this Sheet Pan Gochujang Glazed Salmon as much as I do! Let me know what you think in the comments once you make it!

A favorite meal in my house! I’ve made the recipe with steak (marinated and grilled) in addition to the salmon for those who don’t love seafood. Both are delish!
so glad you loved it!
You MUST make this recipe! It’s perfection. I have also made the glaze and tossed it with roasted cauliflower and it’s incredible 😍
Thank you so much for sharing!
Hi! Just wondering how to make my paste not separate? After cooking there were white bits from the glaze?
Hi! I think that is likely just part of the salmon cooking, not the glaze. When salmon cooks, it sometimes releases a protein called albumin that appears as white streaks or spots.
Super easy recipe. Love a good sheet pan recipe for an easy weeknight meal. I served with steamed rice from Trader Joe’s. Thanks Alex for a delicious recipe!
I make this a couple times a month- it’s one of our favorite recipes! Super easy on a week night, and so flavorful. I don’t like broccolini so I sub Brussels sprouts, and don’t have to change the cooking time. Thanks so much!!
Love to hear that!! Thanks for sharing, Christine.
Can I substitute Gochujang for Siracha?
This was delicious and came together quickly for an easy weeknight dinner. Will definitely be making again!!! We are salt sensitive here so I will skip the salt on the salmon next time. Just a personal preference!
The sauce is drinkable – loved this and will absolutely make again!
loved this recipe! super easy for a weeknight dinner but full of flavor. followed the cook times and proportions exactly and it came out great. the oven does most of the work!
This is so freaking good and so easy to throw together. I used regular broccoli, and it came out crisp but cooked. The sauce is amazing. I’m excited to try using it on other things.
