Easy Whole30 Boneless Buffalo Baked Chicken Thighs

Prep: 5 minutes
Cook: 30 minutes
Total: 35 minutes
Servings: 4 people

Ingredients

  • 8 boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • kosher salt
  • black pepper
  • garlic powder
  • 1 cup Tabasco Wing Sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425.
  • Season both sides of the chicken thighs with kosher salt, black pepper, and dust lightly with garlic powder, to taste.
  • Place in an oven-safe dish (that has sides) and pour 1 cup of hot sauce over the thighs. Using tongs, flip thighs over a few times so that they are all evenly coated in the hot sauce.
  • Bake in the oven for 25 minutes, uncovered. Remove from oven, flip chicken thighs and place back in the oven and bake for 10 more minutes.
  • Remove and serve immediately. Add a dash or two more of hot sauce if you dare!

Notes

You can also use Frank's Original Hot Sauce with this recipe. I have used both; however, I have found that since the Tabasco Wing Sauce is thicker, it bakes better and doesn't get watery while cooking.

  1. Hi! Just FYI the recipe calls for the Tabasco wings sauce but the instructions say Frank’s. It was delicious nonetheless.

  2. Tabasco has an entirely different flavor than Franks so there is no way you can interchange them without totally changing the flavor of the recipe!

    1. Yes, original Tabasco definitely has a different flavor but the Tabasco Buffalo Wing Sauce used here is a great alternative to Frank’s, but you can always use Frank’s if that is what you prefer.
