Since I eat primarily Whole30, bunless burgers are on repeat in our household and I am not mad about it! I love a good bunless burger. To change things up a bit, I opted for a lamb burger and topped it with this delicious mint sauce! I know you’re all going to love these Bunless Lamb Burgers with Mint Sauce!
This mint sauce also goes great on this Harissa Roasted Chicken Breasts if you have leftover sauce!!

BUNLESS LAMB BURGERS WITH MINT SAUCE
Ingredients
For the Mint Sauce
- 1 cup mayo (homemade or Primal Kitchen Brand)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1/3 cup packed mint leaves
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- salt and pepper, to taste
For the Burgers
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
- salt and pepper, to taste
For Serving
- baby arugula
- sliced tomatoes
- sliced red onion
- sliced cucumbers
Instructions
- Combine all of the mint sauce ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend until combined. Refrigerate until ready to use.
- In a bowl, combine the lamb, dried oregano, and cumin with salt and pepper to taste. Using your hands, knead the meat until the spices are just combined (don't overwork the meat).
- Heat a cast-iron skillet or grill over medium-high heat. If I am using a cast iron, I like to spray avocado oil or olive oil on the bottom of the skillet. Grill the burgers on both sides until it is cooked to your liking, I did mine for about 4 minutes per side in a cast-iron skillet.
- Serve burgers over baby arugula, sliced tomatoes, some marinated cucumbers and red onions (optional), and with the mint sauce.
