Spicy Skinny Margaritas

Ingredients

  • 1/2 large jalapeno pepper, seeded and thinly sliced
  • 2 ounces freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 4 ounces blanco tequila
  • 1 ounces freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/2 ounce honey
  • 1 teaspoon egg white
  • lime wedges, for serving
  • coarse salt, for serving

Instructions

  • Add the sliced jalapeño peppers and lime juice to a cocktail shaker. With a cocktail muddler or back of a wooden spoon, mash to break up the peppers.
  • Add the tequila, orange juice, honey, and egg white to the shaker, then cover and shake (do not add ice).
  • Rub a lime wedge around the rim of two glasses, then dip in coarse salt.
  • Fill the glasses with ice, then top with the margarita mix. Garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy!
