  • 2 ounces blanco tequila
  • 1 ounce Aperol

  • 8 ounces Aperol
  • 8 ounces freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 8 ounces freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 4 ounces simple syrup
  • salt or sugar, for rimming (optional)

Instructions

For One Margarita:

  • Rim a double old-fashioned glass with salt or sugar, if using. Fill the glass with ice. Set aside.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the tequila, Aperol, lime juice, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Cover and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  • Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass.
  • Garnish with an orange slice and serve!

For Batched Margaritas:

  • In a large pitcher, combine the tequila, Aperol, lime juice, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Stir well, cover, and refrigerate until chilled.
  • Rim eight glasses with salt or sugar—whichever you prefer.
  • Add ice to glasses, then top with the prepared margarita. Garnish each glass with an orange slice and serve!
