10-Minute Black Bean Dip

Ingredients

  • 2 [15-ounce] cans black beans drained and rinsed
  • ½ cup roasted tomato salsa
  • ¼ cup nacho sliced jalapeños from a jar drained
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼ cup roughly chopped cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Tortilla chips for dipping (sub crudité if preferred)

Instructions

  • In a food processor, combine the black beans, salsa, jalapeños, salt, cumin, pepper, lime juice and cilantro and blend until just smooth.
  • Transfer to a small saucepan and heat over medium-low heat, stirring often being careful not to burn until just warm, about 4 minutes.
  • Serve with chips and salsa!
