Tequila Espresso-Orange Martini

  • 1 ounce Cointreau
  • 3 ounces blanco tequila (I like LALO Tequila)
  • 1 ounce coffee liqueur
  • 1 ounce Simple Syrup
  • 3 ounces hot espresso

Optional Garnish:

  • Shaved chocolate
  • Orange zest


  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the Cointreau, tequila, simple syrup, and hot espresso. Fill with ice. Close, seal, and shake until very cold (at least 20 seconds).
  • Place a strainer on top of the shaker and pour the contents through a sieve (optional) directly into two glasses. Top with shaved chocolate and orange zest as desired.
