Back to School with Walmart

It’s that time of year again and I cannot believe how fast the summer has flown by! BACK TO SCHOOL!!

Part of me and so excited. I feel like with young kids, routine is when we thrive most and having our school schedule is so nice. Summer has been a blast but I am thrilled to have my kiddos back in school, and I know they are so excited, too! Sutton will be starting first grade and Winnie will be starting Pre-K this year! Where has the time gone?

One of the most exciting things about this time of year is back-to-school shopping for the kids. Sutton, as a soon-to-be first grader, had a huge say in what all of her gear looked like, but I didn’t want to overspend on it all; because, well lets be honest: they abuse it and they typically only use it for a year. So, I was so grateful to find that Walmart had such a fun selection for my kids to choose from and also for prices that I am beyond happy with! 

The girls picked out *all* of their own things. The only things that I selected were the items that were on their “back to school list” that the kids could have cared less about! Backpacks, new shoes, fun pencil pouches, stylish watches, and water bottles– those were the things that excited my littles! As far as the “must have” requirements that the school asked for I was super impressed with their low prices and they had everything we needed (and more).

Sutton is so excited about first grade and her favorite new things is her backpack, watch, and headphones! She can’t wait to wear them all!

Winnie really doesn’t need much for her half-day Pre-K program. They really just take their backpacks (for bringing home work) and water bottles each day. But, to have some special things like her big sis, we got her some super cute sneakers, a new watch, and bike shorts to wear underneath dresses! She was so excited about her new finds!
